Following a positive outing in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe which took place last weekend at Spa, Oregon Team is now heading to the Hungaroring for the fourth of eight rounds in the International GT Open.
In Budapest, the team led by Jerry Canevisio and Giorgio Testa will once again field two Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 cars – this time with a revised line-up. Sharing one of the Sant’Agata Bolognese-built cars will be Robin Rogalski and the returning Leonardo Pulcini. The latter replaces Filip Ugran, who competed in the first three rounds of the season.
The Roman driver previously claimed the International GT Open title in 2022 with Oregon Team, and the year before, he won the Pro class title in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe.
No changes on the second Huracán GT3 EVO2, where Antoine Doquin and Artem Petrov will continue to share driving duties. The duo recently broke into the top 10 at Hockenheim, securing 11th and 10th place finishes in the two races.
At the Hungaroring in 2024, Oregon Team took a victory with Pulcini and German driver Simon Connor Primm. The Cremosano-based squad also won in Hungary back in 2022 with Kevin Gilardoni and Glenn van Berlo.
The weekend will kick off with two one-hour free practice sessions on Friday. On Saturday, Qualifying 1 will take place from 9:45 to 10:10, followed by Race 1—a 70-minute contest—starting at 14:40. Qualifying 2 begins at 9:15 on Sunday morning, with Race 2 (60 minutes) scheduled to start at 13:45.
Both races will be streamed live on the International GT Open YouTube channel: @GTOPENseries.
