OREGON TEAM TAKES ON THE ARDENNES AS LAMBORGHINI SUPER TROFEO EUROPE HEADS TO SPA

Oregon Team returns to track this week for what is undoubtedly one of the most exciting challenges of the entire season. The team led by Jerry Canevisio and Giorgio Testa is set to tackle the third of six double rounds of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe, held on the legendary and fascinating Spa circuit.

On the 7,004km Belgian track, the Cremosano-based team lines up with the same crews that took part in the opening two rounds at Paul Ricard and Monza. Leading the Pro class standings are Enzo Geraci and Josef Knopp, thanks to two victories (one in France and one at the Monza circuit, where they also claimed a third-place finish and stood twice on the podium).

Also in the Pro class, Oregon Team will field a second Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 at Spa for Rosario Messina and Gustaw Wisniewski, both making their debut this year in the one-make reserved for Sant’Agata Bolognese cars.

In the Am category, Massimo Ciglia and Pietro Perolini are once again aiming high. After securing two second-place finishes at Monza, they currently sit third in the championship, just 11 points off the lead. Confident in their strong knowledge of the Ardennes circuit, they are targeting their first win at Spa.

Oregon Team will also field a car in the Lamborghini Cup, with Adalberto Baptista behind the wheel. The Brazilian, also in his rookie season in the continental championship, made a strong debut at Paul Ricard with a win and followed it up with a second-place finish and more valuable points at Monza.

This action-packed weekend kicks off tomorrow with two free practice sessions. On Friday at 12:15 pm, qualifying gets underway (two 20-minute sessions), followed by the first of the two 59-minute races at 5:55 pm. Race 2 will start on Saturday at 1:40 pm, with live streaming available on the Lamborghini Squadra Corse YouTube channel.
