OREGON TEAM HEADS TO HOCKENHEIM FOR GT OPEN WEEKEND AIMING TO STEP UP

After a positive weekend at Monza in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe, Oregon Team is back on track this weekend (June 7–8) for the third of eight rounds in the International GT Open, taking place at Germany’s Hockenheim circuit.

The team led by Jerry Canevisio and Giorgio Testa will once again field two Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 cars. One of them will be driven by Antoine Doquin and Artem Petrov, who recently secured a best finish of ninth overall and eighth in the Pro class during the Spa round.

Sharing the other car from the Sant’Agata Bolognese manufacturer will be Robin Rogalski and Filip Ugran, both making their debut season in the continental series with Oregon Team, also competing in the Pro class.

Following a challenging start to the season, the target at Hockenheim is clearly to return to the fight at the front.

In 2024, the German track hosted a standout weekend for Oregon Team, highlighted by a race one victory claimed by the Alessio Deledda and Jordan Pepper duo, delivering the team’s first of three wins that season.

The Hockenheim weekend will kick off on Friday with two free practice sessions, each lasting one hour. On Saturday morning, qualifying session one begins at 10:25 am, followed by race one at 2:25 pm, which will run for 70 minutes. The second qualifying session takes place on Sunday at 9:10 am, with race two (60 minutes) scheduled to start at 1:10 pm.

Both races will be streamed live on the International GT Open YouTube channel, @GTOPENseries.
