Oregon Team will field a four-car entry in the 2026 edition of Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe, in which the Italian squad has been competing since 2021. Over five seasons, the Cremosano-based outfit has secured three Drivers’ titles – the most recent coming last year when Massimo Ciglia and Pietro Perolini claimed the Am crown, before also triumphing at the World Finals in Misano – as well as one Teams’ title.
The team is now ready for a new challenge and has announced its line-up for the 2026 season, which will begin in mid-April at the Circuit Paul Ricard, in France. Two cars will compete in the top Pro class. One will be shared by newcomers Patrik Fraboni and Silas Rytter, both entering their second season in the one-make series reserved for the Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2, but making their debut with the squad run by Jerry Canevisio and Piergiorgio Testa. The second Pro entry will feature Alfio Andrea Spina alongside 24-year-old Brazilian Rogério Grotta, who arrives from single-seater racing with two seasons of experience in Formula 4.
Pietro Perolini has meanwhile been confirmed and will move up to the Pro-Am class, sharing driving duties with Czech driver Josef Knopp, the 2024 ADAC GT4 champion, who last year competed in the Pro class alongside Frenchman Enzo Geraci (the latter has already been announced by Oregon Team for its GT3 programme in the Italian GT Championship).
Completing the line-up in the Lamborghini Cup will be fellow Brazilian Adalberto Baptista, who returns to the Italy-based team for his second season after winning the opening race at Le Castellet last year. Baptista will once again compete as a solo driver.
“As in previous years, we are heading into the season with a well-balanced line-up and we will be represented in three of the four classes,” commented Jerry Canevisio. “Our goal remains to help young drivers develop while also giving opportunities to competitors with less experience but a great deal of passion for racing. We have some very strong pairings and, of course, we are aiming to fight for more titles.”
“I completed two days of testing at Imola at the start of this month and immediately felt very comfortable with both my new team-mate and the engineers and mechanics,” explained Patrik Fraboni, who turned 17 last November and in 2025 secured two victories at Paul Ricard and Nürburgring, finishing third in the Pro championship standings.
“I’m really happy to join Oregon Team, which has many years of experience,” added 20-year-old Danish driver Silas Rytter. “We share the same ambition, which is to win, and together with Fraboni – who performed very strongly last season – we form a fast and competitive pairing.”
Alfio Andra Spina, 19, from Catania, has two seasons in the Italian Formula 4 Championship and one in the Spanish F4 series to his name, where he delivered strong performances, as well as an impressive karting career. “This will be my first season in GT racing, so my goal is to improve race by race,” said the Sicilian driver. “So far I have only completed one day of testing at Imola, but I know I can rely on a very strong team.”
The Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe season will get underway at Le Castellet on 11-12 April. The second round will take place at Imola on 9-10 May, followed by the Belgian event at Spa-Francorchamps on 25-27 June, on the same weekend as the 24 Hours of Spa. After the summer break the championship will return at the Nürburgring in Germany on 28-30 August, before heading to Barcelona on 2-4 October. The season will conclude at Monza from 21 to 25 October, which will also host the 2026 Lamborghini World Finals.
