LAMBORGHINI SUPER TROFEO EUROPE, OREGON TEAM KICKS OFF THE SEASON AT PAUL RICARD

The 2026 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe season will get underway this weekend (10–12 April) at France’s Paul Ricard circuit, marking the sixth campaign for Oregon Team in the one-make series reserved for cars from the Sant’Agata Bolognese manufacturer.

The Cremosano-based squad heads into the opening round of a six-event, double-header calendar with high ambitions across three of the four classes in which it is entered. Two line-ups will compete in the Pro class, where the team secured both the Drivers’ and Team titles in 2021. Both crews are brand new, with one pairing featuring two complete rookies: Italian Alfio Andrea Spina and Brazil’s Rogério Grotta, aged 19 and 24 respectively, both stepping up from single-seaters.

Also in the top class, Italy’s Patrik Fraboni will share driving duties with Danish Silas Rytter (17 and 20 years old). Both drivers enter their second season in the Lamborghini championship, but their first with the team led by Jerry Canevisio and Piergiorgio Testa.

Strong ambitions are also set for the Pro-Am class, where Italian Pietro Perolini – Am class champion with Oregon Team in 2025 – returns alongside Czech driver Josef Knopp. In the Lamborghini Cup, the Italian outfit will once again field Brazilian Adalberto Baptista, who claimed victory on his debut at Paul Ricard last season.

Oregon Team boasts an impressive record at the French venue. In addition to Baptista’s success, the team secured a Pro class win last year with Knopp and Enzo Geraci. The latter will compete in 2026 in the Italian GT Championship with a Huracán GT3 EVO2 run by the Cremosano squad, alongside Guido Luchetti. In 2023, Marzio Moretti and Sebastian Balthasar triumphed in the Pro class, while a Pro-Am victory came in 2022 courtesy of Massimo Ciglia and Lewis Williamson. In 2021, Kevin Gilardoni and Leonardo Pulcini delivered a Pro class double, continuing a campaign that ultimately saw them crowned champions.

The weekend programme begins with two free practice sessions on Friday. Qualifying will take place on Saturday, ahead of the first of two 50-minute races scheduled for 14:45 pm CEST. Race 2 will get underway on Sunday at 12:30 pm CEST. As usual, both races will be broadcast live via streaming on the Lamborghini Squadra Corse YouTube channel.
