Oregon Team returns to action this weekend (July 24–26) at Mugello for the third of four rounds of the Italian GT Sprint. At the Tuscan circuit, the team managed by Jerry Canevisio and Piergiorgio Testa will field two Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2s.
As in the previous rounds, the first car will be shared by French driver Enzo Geraci and Guido Luchetti, the latter preparing to contest what is effectively his home race. After securing a best finish of ninth in the opening round at Imola, the following event at Vallelunga proved far more challenging, and both drivers are now aiming to move up the standings ahead of the season finale at Monza on October 9-11.
The major new addition comes with the second line-up, as Patricija Stalidzane makes her championship debut. The 24-year-old German driver, who has gained experience in ADAC GT4 and on the Nürburgring Nordschleife (including two starts in the Nürburgring 24 Hours), will share driving duties with Leonardo Pulcini. It marks an important return for Pulcini, who won the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe title with Oregon Team in 2021 before being crowned International GT Open champion the following year.
At Mugello, as in the previous rounds of the Italian series, Oregon Team will also field a Lamborghini in Super Trofeo specification in the Cup class. The car will be shared by German driver of Italian descent Salvatore Fico and Denmark’s Milan Rytter (brother of Silas Rytter, who competed with Oregon Team in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe).
The Mugello weekend gets underway tomorrow with the free practice sessions. Qualifying will take place on Saturday morning, while the first of the two 50-minute races plus one lap is scheduled to start at 1:45 p.m. Race 2 will get underway on Sunday at 12:00 p.m.
