Oregon Team set for the International GT Open season finale in Barcelona

Oregon Team is set for the International GT Open season finale scheduled this weekend at the Montmeló circuit in Barcelona.

The Italian team as usual will field two Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 cars. One of them for Pierre-Louis Chovet and Maximilian Paul, who secured their fourth victory of the season in the most recent round in Monza, following the ones claimed at the Hungaroring, Paul Ricard and Spielberg.

These successes let Chovet and Paul to head to Monza with 88 points, 19 less the standings’ leaders Charlie Fagg and Samuel De Haan (McLaren), and remaing in contention for the title battle with a total of 30 points still to be assigned.

For sure the duo will try to win again, in the same track where the last year the team led by Jerry Canevisio and Giorgio Testa ended the 2022 season with a victory and celebrated the title with Benjamin Hites and Leonardo Pulcini.

Another pair to be noted will be the one formed by Daan Arrow and Pietro Perolini, one month ago frontrunners in Monza but not so lucky. In Spain they will have good chance for aiming for a podium finish.

Action will kick-off tomorrow with the test sessions. Free practices are scheduled on Friday. Qualifying one will start on Saturday at 10:20, followed by the first 70-minute race at 15:05. Q2 will commence on Sunday at 9:30. The last 60-minute race is scheduled at 13:30.

Both races will be live streamed on Championship’s YouTube channel.
