Benjamín Hites completes Oregon Team 2022 line-up

Oregon Team completes its International GT Open line-up. After announging the first of two Pro duos formed by Kevin Gilardoni and Glenn van Berlo – who will share the #19 Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo – the squad headed by Jerry Canevisio and Giorgio Testa unveils the agreement with Benjamín Hites for its first season in the series.

The young Chilean will join Leonardo Pulcini – who was alongside Gilardoni the 2021 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe champion for Oregon Team – sharing the duties in the #63 car. Hites, who is just 22, in the last two years raced in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance and Sprint.

With Benjamín we are all set for the new challenge in the International GT Open with Lamborghini“, Jerry Canevisio said. “This year we rely on very fast, young and experienced drivers.

The 2022 International GT Open season kicks-off on mid March with the official test at the Montmeló circuit (Barcelona). The first out of seven rounds is scheduled on May 1 at the Estoril, in Portugal.
