Oregon Team set for 2023 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe opener at Paul Ricard

Oregon Team is set for his fourth consecutive season in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe as the circuit Paul Ricard hosts this weekend (2/4 June) the first round of the 2023 calendar. After winning the Pro title two years ago and the Pro-Am last year, the team led by Jerry Canevisio and Giorgio Testa returns to the grid aiming to continue its positive series of results in the one-make championship reserved to the brand-new Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 cars.

Oregon Team takes on the challenge with four crews. One of them formed by Pro drivers Marzio Moretti (Italy) and Sebastian Balthasar (Germany), 21 and 26 years old respectively, who make their first appearance with the Cremosano-based squad.

In the same classe Brazil’s Pedro Ebrahim (17) makes his debut in the series pairing with Spaniard Guillem Pujeu (22), who returns to the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe after having raced in 2021 for Oregon Team as well.

The Italian team has confirmed Filippo Berto (24) for the second year, with rookie Alessandro Mainetti (19) completing another Pro duo.

Oregon Team will also field a Pro-Am car for Enrico Bettera and Lorenzo Pegoraro, who are set for a full-commitment, following their debut in 2022 at Imola.

Friday’s free practice sessions kick-off the weekend. Qualifying one and two are scheduled on Saturday, ahead of Race 1 start at 13:25 CEST. The second 50-minute race will commence on Sunday at 10:05 CEST. Both races will be live streamed on Lamborghini Squadra Corse socials.
